Struggling to Communicate Complex Crop Protection Science?

Many agricultural organizations face the same challenge:

  • Research is technically sound—but difficult to communicate
  • Content lacks clarity for growers and stakeholders
  • Scientific credibility is lost in translation

The result? Missed opportunities to educate, influence, and drive adoption.

Who I Work With

  • Crop protection and agri-input companies
  • Land-grant universities and extension programs
  • Research and advocacy organizations
  • Commodity groups and checkoff programs
  • Agricultural marketing and PR agencies
  • Trade publications and media

Where Science Meets Communication

At Kegode Copywriting, I bring over 30 years of experience in weed science, herbicide evaluation, and cropping systems research.

I don’t just write about crop protection—I’ve spent decades studying how weeds emerge, compete, and impact crop yields, and how management strategies perform under real-world conditions.

That depth allows me to translate complex agricultural science into content that is both technically accurate and practically meaningful.

About

Hi, I’m George O. Kegode, Ph.D.

My career spans herbicide product development, academic research, and applied cropping systems. I’ve studied weed biology, seed dormancy, emergence timing, and crop-weed competition—factors that directly influence yield and management outcomes.

Some of the management strategies developed through my work are still relevant and used more than 20 years later.

Today, I help organizations communicate agricultural science with clarity, credibility, and real-world relevance.

Let’s Work Together

If you need crop protection content grounded in real science and field experience, I’d be glad to help.
